As a UW student you have what it takes to be a successful learner. An all-online quarter simply requires you to adapt much of what you already know.
It will take practice and dedication to tailor your study habits to the online learning environment. You will complete all of your coursework online, without ever coming into campus or meeting in person with your classmates or instructors. Rest assured, you will interact with your classmates and instructors, but these interactions will be facilitated through online tools.
Spring quarter 2020 will start as scheduled on March 30, 2020. During this first week, you can expect the instructor of each of your courses to be in touch with you no later than what would have been the day/time (PDT) of the first in-person class meeting about the course and important next steps.Learn more

Ask yourself: am I regularly underestimating the time it’s taking me to get things done? A little self-reflection can go a long way.
Find a study buddy whose work ethic you admire and set up an online review session with them.
Use the tools provided, including e-mail, discussion groups, chat room office hours, cell phones, and even text messaging.
